for the retail industry. For this client, Talent Fishers is recruiting a Business Developer to accompany the growth of the company in China by launching the activity in Hong Kong.

Job description



In charge of acquiring new clients, the Business Developer ensures the development of new

business. He leads prospecting activities and pre-sales, elaborates proposals matching the customer

needs, concluding the sale mainly based on standard solutions and services, but also extended advanced and key solutions, in compliance with the sales strategy and the goal of long-term and trustworthy relationship between the company and its customers.



Execute prospecting activities to achieve commercial objectives

- Develop a business prospecting plan

- Identify new customers

- Establish and maintain excellent relationship with potential key customers by presenting and selling

the company's services and solutions

- Maintain a network of partners to generate indirect business opportunities

- Adapt the prospecting action plan according to the identified opportunities

- Fulfill business reporting

- Process leads on incoming calls

- Involve Sales Director on complex and strategic sales

Conduct sales on new accounts

- Qualify the customer's needs and solicit the pre-sales & project teams according to the nature of the project

- Acting as a Story-Teller of the company's solutions and services, ensures convincing

demonstrations matching the clients expectations

- Prepare presentations and proposals to potential customers with Manager and pre-sales & project teams

- Establish the contract proposal with the Legal Manager

- Negotiate and finalize deals



Coordinate the launch of the project with the teams and the client

- Ensure the hand-over with the team in charge of on-boarding

- Schedule the first on-boarding meeting with the client and the Customer Success Manager



Maintain customer relations and market knowledge

- Establish a long-term relationship with prospects

- Enhance his/her knowledge of products, technologies and markets through business analysis

- Execute his/her mission accordingly to the objectives of its business unit and the values of the company

- Act as an ambassador of the interests and values of the company internally and externally

- Regularly and transparently report to the management.





Job Requirements



Knowledge & Know-how

- Managing Sales of Information system solutions and services in BtoB industry

- Experience in sales practices oriented to the acquisition of new customers

- Prospecting, negotiating and sales skills

- Ability to adapt its practices to the sale of standard products and complex solutions with high added value

- Expertise in creating presentations, keynote sessions and leading meetings

- Familiar with information systems and web technologies

- Familiar with e-commerce, direct marketing and retail businesses

- Fluent in English
