Our client is an international health insurance provider with worldwide offices. For this client, Talent Fishers is looking for a Business Development Executive to support the Business Development Director in order to accompany the growth of the company in China.



Location: Beijing, P.R. China

Reporting to: Business Development Manager (Beijing)

Scope:

1. To actively participate in the development of our China intermediary distribution network through the provision of pre-sales support to brokers, including preparation of quotations and close collaboration with operational teams on service performance in order to achieve sales targets and deliver a peerless customer experience.



Job description



As a Business Development Executive, your role will be to:

Business Development:

Provide quotations in accordance with written procedures and processes, and in strict compliance with any relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.

Support BD manager to further strengthen the business cooperation with intermediaries. Liaise with brokers and internal operations team to ensure queries are resolved in a timely manner.

Act as a link between the company and brokers. Provide support to all China brokers, such as answering queries, providing product details etc.

Deliver presentation to the clients and represent the business at exhibitions, conferences and similar events.

Build up detailed knowledge of the company's products and keep up-to-date awareness of competitor activity, products and pricing.

Assist in the delivery of any ad-hoc training that the brokers might require on our products.

Ensure that the company's brand values, principles, and style are adopted and utilised for all external communication.

Customer service:

Work to ensure that customers are fully supported and receive a peerless service experience.

Ensure that any complaints or service failures are dealt with strictly in accordance with Complaints Procedures.

Acquire and maintain thorough understanding of Now Health International's process, procedures and systems (OH+), and ensure that all system information is fully up-to-date.

Take personal responsibility to always actively treat customers fairly.

Adhere to best practice processes including delivery of all the agreed service standards.

Compliance and Security

Take responsibility for establishing and maintaining up-to-date personal awareness of all legislative, regulatory and Company-specific rules, policies and procedures related to performance of the role. Ensure consistent compliance with legal, regulatory and Company standards in line with underwriter requirements.

Pay particular attention to the Company's Information and Data Security policies when accessing and using all Company systems which may provide access to

sensitive information assets, and strive to maintain the highest possible standards of information protection at all times.

Take individual responsibility for accessing only the systems, records and information required to perform the role. Treat all data contained within those systems in a manner consistent with the Company's Information and Data Security policies, and in line with the confidentiality clauses provided within your employment contract.



Job requirements



Excellent written and spoken English are essential.

Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation.

Substantial sales or sales support experience within the medical insurance sector. IPMI experience is preferred A good general educational background; qualified to degree level or equivalent.

Relevant professional qualifications are desirable.

A track record of successfully analysing, identifying and capitalising upon new business opportunities

Fully conversant with Microsoft Office; experience of using industry specific technology and/or the ability to quickly grasp new systems following training.

A positive and out-going attitude to dealing with people

Capable of working independently and taking individual ownership

Ability to plan, organise and prioritize

Ability to work within strict deadlines

Must be able to work well within a team

Must be able to work without supervision

Ability to present confidently in front of a large group.
