Our client is a multinational company specialized in high technology products for the rail transportation systems. The group supplies manufacturers and operators with design, manufacturing, distribution and servicing.
For this client, Talent Fishers is looking for a Supplier Quality Manager.

Job description
- Responsible for managing SQE team to achieve global and company supplier quality targets;
- Responsible for managing IQC team to ensure the incoming inspection for purchased parts with accurate and timely manner. Inspection specification is followed by all inspectors;
- Lead SQE team to be responsible for supplier quality management including performing system and process audits, follow up with NCR corrective actions;
- Lead SQE responsible for new parts FAI approval, and act as link between the project manager and SQE, and to work closely with the project team members in the project platform;
- To ensure of the supplier product & process validation by SQE and process engineers.
- Lead or assist/work with other departments to insure the completion of the following steps regarding the sourcing process: suppliers selection, audit, sample run, qualification, SNCR handling;
- Responsible for poor quality cost performance of suppliers by following their PPM and taking preventive and corrective actions for improvement;
- Monitoring the external manufacturing based on the product-process supplier's information such as defects in process, non conformities found and zero-km defect indicator;
- Managing packaging engineers to draft packaging guidelines and specifications for finished goods and validate supplier packaging proposals.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor or Master Degree majored in Engineering/Material Science;
- Minimum of 5+years experience in purchasing;
- Fluent written & oral English with college level or above;
- Self-motivated and good team working;
- Basic finance knowledge;
- Good Skills in price negotiation, cost analysis, supplier management.
