Our client is a European company specialized in the manufacturing and the distribution of medical products.

For this client, Talent Fishers is looking for a Senior Purchasing Manager based in Shanghai to accompany the growth of the company in China.

Job location: Shanghai


- Suppliers selection and management in China

- Quality improvements

- New product development

Reporting to: President of the company

Job description

- Maintain and further develop relationship with existing suppliers.

- Source, search, audit and qualify new suppliers.

- Coordinate supplier evaluation and development activities in order to ensure supplier performance improvement.

- Follow up on orders to ensure on time shipment and delivery.

- Lead Quality Assurance activities with suppliers.

- Good understanding of cost breakdown and price trends

- Develop new products to expand the category.

Job Requirements

- Bachelor degree with at least 8 years work experience in Purchasing; including an experience in the Medical Industry

- Solid report skills on quality performance and price

- Good communication skills with the solid command of English, a good command of French or Mandarin would be a plus

- Strong leadership skills, ability to lead negotiation with suppliers
