Our client is a fast-growing French company designing, manufacturing and selling innovative and qualitative tableware products and lifestyle accessories. For this client, we are looking for a China General Manager to carry on and accelerate the growth of the business in China.
Job location: Shanghai
Reporting to: CEO and Co-Founder

Job Description
• Run the China business in autonomy (reporting to the CEO, based in Europe)
• Manage the Shanghai team (about 10 staff in Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain and E-Commerce)
• Ensure the continuity and development of operations, in line with the agreed budget and defined objectives
• Support staffing needs and ensure employee retention, to guarantee a sustainable growth of the business
• Provide, and update, a 3-year vision for the business in China
• Anticipate trends on the market to constantly realign and adjust

Job Requirements
• Significant work experience in Marketing, Branding and/or E-commerce
• Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese
• Proven Sales and Business Development track record
• Budget and P&L Management experience
• Strategic mindset, creative thinking
• Strong communication, management and presentation skills
• Proactive, hands-on, organized and detail-oriented
• Able to identify issues and suggest and implement solutions
• Strong knowledge of the Chinese market, and especially the Digital and E-commerce ecosystem
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and confidence with clients and partners, and to inspire and engage the internal teams
