Our client is the global leader in culinary and hospitality apparel with distribution in more than 80 countries. For this client, Talent Fishers is looking for a BD Manager, to develop their business in China.

Job location:     Shanghai, P.R. China
Reporting to:     Managing Director

Job description
Review sales contracts and vendor qualification forms prepared by individual sales person
Act as member of the sales team to prepare quotations, orders
Answer sales enquiries through all channels - via phone, email, website, WeChat or during exhibitions
Conduct sales visits to VIP customers
Coordinate trade shows between internal and external associates
Schedule and prepare weekly meeting agenda to the Executive management
High Level Prospecting & Networking
Developing Solution Based Proposals & Proposal Presentations
Objection Handling
Management Reporting
Offer guidance and resolve issues with the Customer service team
Ad hoc task assigned by management
Develop and input data into the CRM system 
Managing the Effective Use of Salesforce CRM

And, gradually:
Recruit Sales team members
Effective KPI Management of the Sales Team
Coaching & Mentoring
Recruitment & Performance Management

Job Requirements    
Proficiency in both English and Chinese 
At least 2 years’ experience in a business development role
Strong network in hotels and restaurants in China
Proficiency in CRM management
Knowledge of Chinese social media
Creative in their approaches, taking ownership over their activity & successes
Proven track record of new business sales achievements, within the hospitality industry preferably
An understanding of solution selling & sound knowledge of the sales process
Enthusiastic, self-starter attitude with a hunger to succeed
A team player mentality
Excellent presentation and communication skills
A strong personality displaying resilience, confidence and determination
A hands on style and be able to demonstrate leadership and people development skills
Strong business skills to understand profitability and ensure we don’t sell on price alone
