Our client is a worldwide leader in the entertainment world, with world-acclaimed historical theme parks. They have pioneered a new generation of parks, based on culture and history, with a unique artistic concept.
For this client, we are looking for an IT Manager to build a strong and growing team of 200 people in the next 18 months, to sustain the China developments.

Direct reporting line: Deputy CEO Asia
The role will provide support services to the company user community and its customers. Direct responsibility for handling and overseeing the daily operations of the IT department. Lead the team by creating and implementing IT management objectives, policies, procedures and processes to ensure key objectives are met. Ensures that organizational IT objectives are successfully achieved, primarily related to efficiency and cost.
Develop and implement long-term and short-term strategic plans to make network/infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements
Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for various software, network resource administration and appropriate use
Plan, acquire, and coordinate installation of in-house and remote hardware and software across the organization’s network
Conduct research and make recommendations on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts
Assess, approve, and administer all equipment, hardware, and software upgrades
Manage and ensure effectiveness of servers, including e-mail, printers, drives, backup servers, and their operating systems and software
Manage and ensure effectiveness of security solutions, including firewalls, anti-virus solutions, and intrusion detection systems
IT asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory, life cycle management and related documentation
Responsible for increasing user satisfaction rate through providing great IT services
Communicate with corporate IT on a daily basis regarding infrastructure changes, email setting, network and server needs
Bachelor degree or major in computer science, MIS or related discipline
Over 5 years work experience in information technology
Significant experience with SAP systems is a plus
Experienced in developing, managing and negotiating with external vendors/suppliers
Demonstrated experience in a matrixed work environment and sense of urgency and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment
Exhibit a high level of initiative and integrity
Proficient in English in both speaking and writing
