Our client is a world leader in designing and supplying chemical products and ingredients for the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, nutrition, vaccine and industrial markets. Founded over 60 years ago, the company is well established in Europe and it is experiencing a sustainable growth in China.

For this client, Talent Fishers is looking for an AVI (Adjuvant Vaccine Injection) China Sales Manager to accompany the growth of the company in Asia.

Job location: Shanghai 
Reporting to: Asia Pacific AVI Business Manager

Job Scope: To maintain and develop AVI business in China
To enhance business relationship with customers/distributors


Job Description
•    Key Account Management to increase customer satisfaction
•    Develop new business opportunities and diversify the existing market by having close relationships with research institutes in China
•    Work in cooperation with the company’s corporate teams and with the China plant logistic and finance team
•    Acquire a good expertise on the vaccine market; understand customer needs and their business, and understand the competitors
•    Perceive the quality of the deliveries and any possible complaints from customers
•    Coordinate the customer’s projects with corporate teams
•    Provide technical support to the customers in the animal vaccine development, from scientific advices to lab experiments
•    Develop and maintain close contacts with the main players: manufacturers, consultants, University& Institutes, Key Opinion Leaders…
•    Identify regulatory authorities and competitors: products, price policy, organization, strengths, weaknesses…
•    Manage a sales budget and make quotations
•    Identifies vaccine producers and the main players (Universities / Institutes, Key opinion leaders…);
•    Does a mapping of the market: size, growth, trends, segments;
•    Understands customers/distributors needs: products, price constraints, service…



Job Requirements
•    Bachelor Degree or above, preferably major in veterinary, biological, pharmaceutical or related field
•    Minimum 5 years working experience in sales and business development in China (experience in selling technical products)
•    Experience in the veterinary, biological or pharmaceutical industries
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for partnering with R&D teams
•    Technical skills as well as a business mindset
•    Process oriented with strong organizational skills
•    Open-minded and curious about the sciences industries
•    Fluency both in Mandarin and English
•    Be willing to travel
