Our client is a European family-owned company and specialized in manufacturing fruits, confectioneries and beverage ingredients.

In order to strengthen the marketing and sales team in Vietnam, as well as to launch products to retails channel, the company recently creates a new Brand Manager position aiming to boost this segment 


  • Report to Marketing Director
  • Working location in HCMC
  • Be in charge of the follow-up the process of launching new products from the beginning until go to the market (route to market)
  • Build the Master marketing plan for the dedicated brand and all the detailed activities with the retailers; set up metrics to measure the impact of your plan and always ensure about the consistency of the activities;
  • Play an active role in ensuring that the brand agenda is understood and executed across functions/channels/teams;
  • Support in identifying the regional/local needs and consumer insights by markets and translating that into business objectives and KPIs while continuously increasing effectiveness of Advertising and Promotion (A&P) investments while further driving ROI efficiencies;
  • Be responsible in the development of the packaging, label design and marketing materials relative to your brand; work closely with the product development team to develop new products and renovate existing products;
  • Lead the discussions and make the brief with creative / digital / activation… agencies for planning and executing activities according to each campaign;
  • Build short-long term brand strategy
    • Delivering product introductions, storytelling, product launching, media & communication plans to the cross-functional teams;
    • Gathering local insight, competitors, trade understanding and analyzing market trends to identify business opportunities, consumer needs, innovation and extension of the product range;
  • Build communication planning for local market and South-East Asia market
    • Direct contact with distributors, retailers, external parties, agencies, for product registration, promotional materials, public relation, media, event, etc.; 
    • Execute and manage delivery of brand marketing plans/activities to achieve KPI’s and objectives (brand awareness, product healthy & natural claims…);
    • Ensure agreed plan execution is effective (selection of channels, timeline and within budget);
    • Manage the digital elements of the marketing mix for the brand, to increase early reach and engagement;
  • Drive brand growth
    • In-depth analysis and reporting of SKU level performance, drivers and barriers and in-depth understanding of consumer;
    • Continually monitor performance of key communication channels: social media, web, ecommerce, newspaper, online and recommend plan modifications to optimize performance against objectives;
    • Continuously monitor competitor activity by market to flag to senior management any risks or opportunities that come with all external activities (Pricing, Positioning, Promotions, Distribution, Messaging, etc.)
  • Reporting and set up KPI to ensure the efficiency and impact of the plan

  • Bachelor or master degree or relevant qualification preferably in marketing or business/economics;
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a Brand Manager in FMCG industry;
  • Experience of reaching consumers via digital channels;
  • Vietnamese & English speaking and writing. French speaking and writing is a plus;
  • Strong communicator, able to inspire; proactive and creative; enthusiastic about their product area
  • Dynamic, team player, very flexible with positive attitude and able to work in a fast pace environment; 
  • Independent with a commercial approach; able to respond to results and consumer research;
