Our client is a European company specialized in furniture production and window displays. For this client, Talent Fishers is looking for a Chief Operations Officer (Shanghai).



Job location: Shanghai

Scope: Lead the entire operational process and workflow

Reporting to: GM (China) and Board Head Quarter (Europe)



Job description

- Liaise with administration and finance department

- Plan, coordinate and control project managers activities

- Overview operative steps, schedules and responsibilities according to company procedures

- Direct and coordinate activities of the different departments including project managers, technical, purchasing, quality & control and installation department

- Accomplish projects complying all requirements

- Assure timely delivery

- Monitor quality and budget

- Update workflow planning

- Provide project review and assessment



Job Requirements

- 10 years working experience with at least 3 years as technical, purchasing or production manager in the decoration or furniture manufacturing industry

- Experience in the retail segment preferred

- Fluent in Italian, fluent in English, good Mandarin skills

- Knowledge of main decoration and furniture materials

- Knowledge of main decoration and furniture production methodology

- Strong leadership and communication capacity

- Strong technical background combined with a pragmatic approach and an aesthetic sense is a must

- Knowledge of 2D/3D drawing (CAD)

- Knowledge of Microsoft office package
