Our client is a leading designer and manufacturer of incinerators for hospital, animal and industrial waste. For this client, Talent Fishers is looking for a China Production Manager to accompany the growth of the company in Asia.
Location: Zibo, Shandong province, China
Scope: Manage the production of incinerators across two plants in Shandong province
Report to: CEO
Job description
- Manage two plants (60 staff)
- Monitor the production of boilers and incinerators for solid, liquid and gaseous waste
- Manage the orders coming from the HQ in Europe
- Follow up on the production by the Chinese team in the workshops
- Ensure quality control
- Ensure timely delivery and the respect of HQ deadlines
- Manage a team of 60 employees, boilermakers and heating engineers
- Travel to the 2nd plant and supplier based in Qingdao (Shandong)
- Meet and evaluate potential new partners and suppliers
- Regular reporting to the HQ
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- Excellent knowledge of boiler work and heating engineering
- Previous experience in production of incinerators
- Experience within foreign invested companies in China or Asia Region preferred
- Previous experience in managing a team
- Strong leadership
- Organized with an eye for details
- Fluency both in Mandarin and English
