Our client is an American company specialized in Health Care and Medical Devices. For this client, Talent Fishers is looking for a Digital and E-Commerce Associate Director.



Job location: Shanghai

Scope: Launch the official TMall Store and build the brand by driving engagement, conversion and profitable revenue through TMall Store as well as other new partner platforms that the company decides to develop.

Job description

- Enable Greater China business to serve consumers both digitally and in store

- Reach and exceed financial goals

- Define and execute the overall Tmall and new digital partners business strategies

- Drive the business plan and strategy to hit revenue and profit goals for the official brand store on Tmall and all relevant e-platforms and e-tailers

- Partner with the buying, merchandising, KA and planning teams to develop the product investment and differentiation strategy for the online business

- Partner with the sales team to ensure the digital channel does not hurt the offline business but creates some more opportunities and traffic

- Work with the brand marketing teams to drive the traffic and engagement goals aligned with the brand's priorities and communication plan

- Work closely with the category and KA teams to develop the seasonal initiative calendar for the partners

- Build the capabilities to help the marketing teams and sales team attract, engage and retain consumers together with creating some traffic in store for key retailers

- Lead and manage the business partnership with 3rd party partners

- Explore and help develop new partnerships to drive further distribution, new digital commerce experiences and profitable revenue for the brand

- Collaborate with the supply chain and operations teams to ensure quality inventory management and optimization each season

- Partner with the operations, consumer services and technical teams

- Uncover all the insights from consumer journey and ensure that all tools are in place to attract, engage and retain consumers, while driving traffic both online and offline

- Optimize campaign efficiencies and create strong content aligned with the brand team to create strong WOM

- Ensure digital content, SEO, SEM, website and social platforms are optimized and also drive educational purposes

- Manage a team of direct reports, contractors and 3rd party resources to inspire and energize them to beat goals

- Sustain a strong external and internal network to ensure all new technologies and innovations are used to give the best experience to consumers and professionals



Job Requirements

- Fluent English and Mandarin required

- Business, Analytical, Marketing, Economics, IT or Engineering Degree or an additional 2 years of related work experience in lieu of degree required

- Masters degree (MBA/MSC etc) a plus

- 10+ years of professional work experience in an international company and/large retailer, including 6+ years of work experience in Digital Commerce business functional areas including marketing, merchandising, operations, analytics or sales

- Solid understanding of Digital marketing across key channels including Paid Search and email in an e-commerce setting

- Previous experience with managing budgets and having a proven record of demonstrating strong return on investment is critical

- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including being able to create and deliver dynamic presentations on complex business issues

- Exceptionally strong analytical skills & comfort with getting deep into the numbers

- Proven capability to use data to drive business decisions & plan optimization

- Solid project management and planning experience required

- Previous experience at a multichannel and/or international retailer, combining both online and offline success criteria preferred

- Previous experience managing Digital and/or retail professionals

- Management/Strategy Consulting experience is a plus

- Previous experience working with a premium positioned brand and understanding tactics that can both build and potentially erode brand equity a plus
