Our client is a European pioneer specialized in dairy functional ingredients. 

For this client, Talent Fishers is looking for an SEA & China Sales Manager to accompany the growth of the company in South East Asia and China.

-    Responsible for the development of dairy ingredients sales (B2B) in Asian markets (Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines) and China.
-    He/she promotes the products/applications, directly or via an international network of agents and/or distributors, towards food manufacturers.  He/she pilots the sales strategy in his/her area.  The technical nature of the products requires a good expertise and motivation for food applications, to be able to understand and propose the appropriate products and to meet the specific needs of each manufacturer.
-    Main applications are: ice cream, dairy drinks, bakery, chocolate in which the products functionalities are appreciated.

Job Description
•    Sales
-    Sell technical dairy ingredients in an international and competitive environment.
-    Developing fidelity with existing customers through partnership and follow up.
-    Actively prospecting for new customers.
-    Managing the sales agents and distributors network and monitoring their commercial activities.
-    Opening new markets and new agents.
•    Strategic analysis
-    Analyze markets to draw recommendations for the sales strategy or new products development.
-    Anticipate price trends and customer strategies, and adapt the contracts at best.
-    Plan and manage the strategic directions of the area according to local markets strategy and specificities. The Manager must be able to adapt the existing range to his/her customers’ needs.
•    Coordination
-    Pilot the decision making process in the various departments of our customers (Production, R&D, Purchasing, Legal, Marketing), in order to lead to a new contract.
-    Interact with internal Departments (Sales administration, R&D, Purchasing, Quality, Production, Regulation and Legal) to serve the best interests of customers and ensure reliable business forecast.
•    Technical interface
-    Provide technical guidance to B2B customers in various applications (ice cream, dairy products, bakery, chocolate…).
-    Understand and serve technical needs with the support of developers (diagnosis and solutions).
•    Quality
-    Answering customer needs with products and specifications in accordance with the Group’s procedures and constraints.
•    Regulatory
-    Ensuring that products sold are in compliance with local legislation.
-    Developing close contacts with agents/local authorities to facilitate the import procedures

Job Requirements
•    Bachelor degree in agronomical engineering or business school.
•    Min. 5 years of experience, preferably in Asia and/or with international dairy trade experience.
•    Bilingual English.  Asian language a plus.
•    Windows Office, CRM Salesforce.
•    Export Strategy / experience of international business.
•    Food Technical knowledge (process, recipes, ingredients).
•    With real analytical skills and result oriented, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in multi-cultural teams.
•    You will be proactive and demonstrate autonomy.
•    Geographical mobility (frequent trips to plan (short or long term) depending on assigned missions; 40% minimum).
