For this client, we are looking for a Restaurant Operations Director to lead and oversee the restaurant operations in the ongoing development and new projects in China.

Job Description
For our client, we are re looking for a seasoned Operations Director to join their team and rock the daily operations of their two latest venues in Shanghai: an internationally acclaimed Italian pizzeria and casual restaurant and a cocktail bar.
The ideal candidate will be a restaurant industry expert with a passion for managing multiple locations and a proven track record of successful business operations.
This is a rad opportunity to lead a super awesome team and contribute to the success of a leading restaurant group in Shanghai, China.

Job Responsibilities

  • Take charge and manage the daily operations of all restaurants within the group.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures and policies to optimize efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Make sure that they are always following health and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Keep an eye on inventory levels for all locations, including food, beverages, and supplies.
  • Develop and implement training programs for staff to ensure excellent customer service, operational efficiency, and adherence to company standards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other key players.
  • Manage the financial performance of the restaurants, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Find areas for improvement and put strategies in place to increase sales and profits.
  • Lead and develop the restaurant management team, ensuring effective communication, teamwork, and accountability.
  • Keep the executive team in the loop with regular reports on the performance of the restaurants and any areas of concern.
  • Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related areas.
  • 8+ years of experience in the restaurant industry, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Experience in managing multiple locations and a track record of successful business operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of the restaurant industry, including trends, best practices, and regulations.
  • Great with finances and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in English.
