Our client is an International Leader in the production of high-pressure pumps and cleaning systems, with presence in over 100 countries now.
For this client, Talent Fishers is looking for an Operation (Production) Manager.
Overview
- He/She will be responsible for working for a smooth operation process and solving problems.
- He/She will pay attention to increasing production efficiency while controlling costs.
- He/She will bridge between factory & DD.
Reporting: General Manager (Foreigner based in Shanghai)
Job location: Shanghai, P.R. China
Job Description
• Design operation process with General Manager, with aiming to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Work with related departments to set up operation process (SOP) to implement and improve operation output & efficiency.
• Work as master planner to arrange workers shifts to improve the working efficiency, especially controlling the overtime to meet the on-time delivery.
• Arrange and coordinate daily Product Allocation for some categories to make sure workers follow company’s requirement on security, safety and working disciplines & Job training for employees and apprentices.
• Lead local maintenance to optimize production line and set up spare parts stock based on requirements.
• Work as the window with Development team for sample making and some other issues, to fully support development team for new projects.
• Operation Project follow up, e.g. Moving, 5S, CI and etc.
• Lead warehouse team to guarantee on-time delivery & inventory management.
• Other tasks assigned by General Manager.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor degree in Mechanical related majors to be able to understand mechanical drawings.
• 15 years of working experiences in Factory Operation, preferably for similar Pump products.
• Fluent written & oral English.
• Good communication skills, self-motivated, can work under pressure & result-oriented.
• Skills and knowledge in development of finished products as power tool field.
• Experiences in new project launching activities.
• Good understanding of MNC cultures.
