Our client is an International Leader in the development and production of power transmission solutions, with established presence around the world and in China.
For this client, Talent Fishers is looking for a Purchasing Manager.
Overview
- He/She will be responsible for establishing and improving the process related to Purchasing Department according to the requirements.
- He/She will be responsible for complementing and ensuring things are in line with Management Systems.
Reporting: General Manager (Foreigner based in Taicang)
Job location: Taicang, P.R. China
Job Description
• The overall management of the purchasing department, so as to ensure the high quality of the materials to reduce purchasing costs.
• Lead the purchasing department in accordance with department job functions to do a good job and build teamwork.
• Do the purchasing plans according to the marketing plans and construction plans and supervise the implementations.
• Set up the materials management system to do the operation standardization.
• Make reasonable purchasing forecast, according to the operation of company funds, materials piled up, market price movements, do purchasing forecast reasonable.
• Regularly organize training for team members’ purchasing knowledge, proficiency in purchasing operations and techniques, and honest sentiment, and to take the lead in compliance with purchasing regime to prevent the generation of bad behavior.
• Control the good batch purchasing, to avoid the risk of market instability.
• Monitor the status of the project logistics, purchasing and control unreasonable consumption.
• Normative guidance and approval of the purchase receipt, to assist accounting audit the project and the cost control.
• To complete other tasks assigned by General Manager.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor degree or above, major in machinery or other similar majors.
• Around 8 to 10 years related experience in multinational companies, among which at least 3 years in engineering industry.
• Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
• Fluent English both in oral and in written, Italian language skill is a plus.
• Quick and precise response for complex and urgent situations.
• Excellent communication and cooperation skills and being able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiar with the office software (such as Word, Excel and so on).
• Can work under pressure.
• Have good professional ethics and quality.
• Good organization/coordination/coaching skill.
• Clear thinking.
• Good team player.
