In Asia Pacific, they have an established team and several production sites to support clients.
For this client, Talent Fishers is looking for a Sales Director – China Market.
Overview
- The Sales Director is responsible for leading the national sales organization in China to achieve revenue, volume, and profitability targets.
- This role requires a highly motivated individual with a proven track record of developing new markets and delivering measurable results, who must bring strategic vision, strong leadership, and the ability to drive internal changes.
- In addition to managing the dealer network and optimizing sales performance, the Sales Director will actively contribute to reviewing and strengthening the internal sales organization to align with the company’s growth plan and evolving market dynamics.

Job Description
• Define and execute the national sales strategy, in line with company objectives.
• Manage, develop, and coach the sales team across all regions in China.
• Strengthen the dealer network and evaluate underperforming areas.
• Ensure a clear pricing strategy and full implementation.
• Implement volume – based discount structures and manage special deal terms with strategic clients.
• Coordinate with Finance on payment terms, risk exposure, overdue, and cash flow control.
• Lead commercial negotiations with key accounts (private farms, government tenders).
• Provide sales forecasts, track performance, and propose corrective actions when needed.
• Collaborate with Planning, Production, and Warehouse to align order fulfillment with sales planning.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Agricultural Machinery. An MBA or Executive Management Program is considered a strong asset.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive sales management experience in the agricultural machinery, industrial equipment, or related B2B sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and expand markets, with a history of driving sales growth in underpenetrated or new regions.
• Strong leadership skills, with proven experience in re – organizing or enhancing internal commercial structures to support long – term strategy.
• Deep knowledge of the Chinese agricultural market, dealer dynamics, and government subsidy programs.
• Solid negotiation, planning, and execution capabilities with strategic accounts (including private farms and public tenders).
• Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken), Communication capability in Italian is a plus.
