Talent Fishers is currently seeking an IE Manager for this client, who will be a core manager in the Production Operations department, responsible for three major technical support functions: integrated process optimization, lean system implementation, and equipment maintenance. This position will focus on continuously optimizing production processes, improving equipment efficiency, reducing manufacturing costs, and ensuring the plant's overall operational efficiency reaches industry-leading levels through scientific engineering methods.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES



 


  • Process Management: Responsible for the overall stability and optimization of all manufacturing processes, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of process parameters, work instructions, and control plans.
  • New Product Introduction (NPI): As the core technical lead, participate in the design review and introduction of new products, and be responsible for process design, tooling and fixture design, trial production verification and mass production ramp-up to ensure that new products are smoothly and efficiently transitioned to mass production.
  • Yield Improvement: Utilizing Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Six Sigma tools, we lead the analysis and resolution of complex process challenges, systematically improving production yield.
  • Lean System Implementation: Responsible for the overall planning, implementation, and supervision of the factory's lean production system, including the application of key tools such as Value Stream Analysis (VSM), Kanban systems, and leveling production.
  • IE Standardization: Lead the industrial engineering team to conduct standard time measurement, work method analysis, production line balancing, and ergonomic optimization, providing factories with accurate capacity data and efficiency improvement solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement Culture: Promote a continuous improvement (Kaizen) culture and projects within the factory, and train and mentor employees to identify and eliminate the eight wastes in production.
  • Efficiency Indicators: Continuously track and analyze production efficiency indicators (such as output per capita and efficiency loss rate), and formulate and implement specific improvement goals.
  • Equipment Maintenance System: Lead the equipment maintenance team to establish and improve preventive maintenance (PM), inspection systems, and troubleshooting processes to minimize equipment failure rates.
  • Key performance indicator management: Responsible for monitoring and improving key equipment performance indicators such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR).
  • Spare parts and budget: Manage equipment maintenance budgets and spare parts inventory to ensure the cost-effectiveness of maintenance activities.
  • Responsible for the daily management, performance evaluation, and professional skills training of the process engineering, equipment maintenance, and lean manufacturing teams. Ensure the team possesses advanced engineering skills and lean thinking, providing high-level technical support to the factory.

 

 



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES   



  • Bachelor's degree or above in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, automation or related technical fields.
  • Possesses solid knowledge of manufacturing processes and is capable of independently analyzing and solving complex process technology problems.
  • Demonstrates strong capabilities in new product introduction and continuous improvement project management.
  • Has in-depth knowledge of industrial engineering theory and lean manufacturing tools (VSM, 5S, line balancing, etc.), with preference given to candidates holding Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certifications.
  • Familiar with modern equipment management systems (such as TPM/PM) and has experience in improving OEE and managing equipment assets.Deep understanding of equipment and efficiency metrics such as OEE, and experience in improving metrics through systematic maintenance.
  • At least 10-12 years of relevant manufacturing and engineering management experience, including at least 5-8 years in a managerial position involving process/IE/equipment functions.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in both English and Mandarin.
  • With experience working in large foreign-invested or joint-venture enterprises or the automotive industry.
