Our client is an International company in the Industrial Logistics field and mainly in the construction or manufacturing of loading/unloading systems, industrial doors, etc.
They have an established history and team already in China.
For this client, Talent Fishers is looking for a China GM.
Reporting: Group President
Job location: Wuxi, Jiangsu Province
Main Objective
- Develop and implement sales in the Chinese market, establish and consolidate collaborative relationship with retailers and/or agents.
- Responsible for ensuring the control, coordination, and overall development of the Chinese subsidiary, ensuring alignment with the parent company's strategies.
Job Description
• Provide the necessary strategic leadership for the Chinese organization.
• Implement strategies shared with the parent company and ensure the achievement of commercial and operational objectives.
• Coordinate and have a full understanding of all key company departments:
O Sales (main focus),
O Finance and Accounting,
O Production and Operations.
• Collaborate in preparing the sales budget and monitoring performance.
• Collaborate in implementing promotional and marketing plans, analyzing the needs and dynamics of the Chinese market.
• Coordinate, support, and develop company personnel across all functions.
• Be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and developing the organization's human resources.
• Ensure effective management of financial and human resources.
Job Requirements
• Candidate with solid knowledge of the industrial/logistics sectors in China.
• Work experience in General Management and Sales Development in the same or similar sectors in China is required.
• Experience in structured environments and with interaction with foreign headquarters.
• Coordination and leadership skills.
• Orientation towards results and achieving objectives.
• Planning and organizational skills.
• Problem solving and prioritization.
• Stress management skills.
• Public speaking and effective communication skills.
• Ability to manage financial and human resources.
• Good command of Chinese and English skills, Italian communication skills would be preferred.
