Factory General Manager
Our client is a global industrial manufacturing group with Italian heritage, specializing in high-precision components, assembly systems, and fluid control solutions for industrial and infrastructure applications. The client operates an international production and supply chain network, serving customers worldwide with certified quality, advanced engineering, and consistent reliability.
For this client, Talent Fishers is seeking for a Factory General Manager. The role leads the full operation of a manufacturing site in a Tier 2 city in Zhejiang Province. It oversees HR, Admin, Production, Quality, Safety, cost control, and end-to-end supply chain and procurement. The position acts as the key link between the Italian HQ and the local team to drive efficiency, continuous improvement, and alignment with global standards.

MISSIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead overall daily operations and management of the manufacturing plant to ensure stable, efficient, and on-time delivery.
?
Oversee Production, Quality, Safety, HR, Administration, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
?
Manage end-to-end supply chain, procurement, logistics, warehousing, and inventory control.
?
Source, screen, evaluate, and manage domestic suppliers; develop and implement supplier qualification, performance evaluation, and development plans.
?
Drive cost reduction, productivity improvement, lean management, and operational excellence.
?
Implement global corporate standards, policies, quality systems, and operational procedures locally.
?
Serve as the primary liaison between Italian headquarters and the local Chinese team.
?
Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, quality certifications, and local legal requirements.
?
Build, lead, and develop a high-performance local management team to achieve business objectives.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
? Italian national with fluent business Chinese, OR Chinese / European national with fluent
business Italian; English proficient.
? Strong professional background in supply chain, procurement or sourcing.
? 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain or sourcing management.
? For experienced GM candidates: 5+ years in Plant Manager / Operations Director / Factory
GM role.
? For high-potential Sourcing / Supply Chain Managers: proven leadership mindset, strategic
thinking, communication and cross-functional management capability, willing to grow into a
full plant GM role.
? Experience in supplier development, audit and supply chain optimization.
? Demonstrated cross-cultural management, cost control and operational improvement.
? Willing to be permanently based in Zhejiang.
? Result-driven, strong sense of responsibility, able to work under pressure and meet tight
project schedules.
? Meticulous logical thinking, strong attention to detail and professional document
management ability.
